Blister Friction Type- Symptoms, Causes, Treatment and Home Remedies

What is Blister Friction Type?

Blister Friction Type is a bubble of skin filled with a clear liquid caused due to continuous friction or rubbing. These blisters commonly occur on feet due to abnormal fitting of shoes and on hands. The affected skin becomes irritating due to the seperation of outer (epidermis) layer of the skin from the fiber layer (dermis) and skin regrows from underneath. Some times it may be infectious, painful and uncomfertable. Other things such as physical, heat or chemical injuries can also lead to friction blisters. Diabetic patients may be the most affecting people.

Causes of Blister Friction Type

Blisters can be caused by physical factors that irritate the skin, such as friction (rubbing the skin), irritating chemicals or extreme cold or heat. Friction combined with excessive moisture sets up the right combination for blister formation.
