What is Papulopustular Rosacea? Papulopustural changes in rosacea

In papulopustular rosacea papules called also pustules appear that are filled with pus. These symptoms resemble acne, and they may be confused with this disease. There is a different background and causes of this type of rosacea than acne and its treatment shouldn’t be confused with the latter. The central portion of the face is red that is also associated with a history of flushing.

Stressful situations and emotions can aversely affect this condition and health.

Topical creams can be beneficial, including those that contain metranidazole as well as tetracycline treatment for papules and pustules. Immunological deficiencies may need to be addressed. Parasites that worsen the condition need to be eradicated.
