Children with Down syndrome is the effect on facial features. This is appear extra skin at the inner corners of the eyelids, slanting rather than horizontal eye openings and a flattened nasal bridge. Plastic surgery is a way to change the facial features to Down syndrome. Down syndrome is occur due to the chromosome disorder.

Causes of Down Syndrome
The common causes of this disease are hormonal abnormalities, X-rays, viral infections, immunologic problems, facial features, cognitive impairment, congenital heart disease, hearing deficits, short stature, and Alzheimer's disease.
Features in children with Down syndrome
Some of the physical features in children with Down syndrome include flattening of the back of the head, slanting of the eyelids, small skin folds at the inner corner of the eyes, depressed nasal bridge, slightly smaller ears, small mouth, decreased muscle tone, loose ligaments, and small hands and feet.
Complications of Plastic Surgery in Children with Down Syndrome
Complications such as infection, wound opening and obstruction to breathing may occur 4 to 6 weeks after operation. An episode of ventricular dysrhythmia.
