Hydrocystoma

Hydrocystoma is an eruption of deeply seated vesicles which is produced by the cystic proliferation of secretary apocrine or eccrine glands. It is mostly occurs in the eyelids and same as color of eyelid.  The word hydrocystoma is a combination of two words i.e. hydro which mans fluid and cystoma which means Cystic thickening.

Symptoms of hydrocystoma

Hydrocystoma is mostly occurs in the eyelids and its color is same as color of eyelid and usually it is solitary, dome-shaped translucent nodule that typically shows a bluish-gray color. These cysts are rounded and soft if touched. They are not cause to loss of eyelashes. Sign of this cyst includes Cystic lesion of the either apocrine or eccrine sweat glands.

Treatment of hydrocystoma

The best treatment of hydrocystoma is surgical removal. Excision or biopsy is typically performed if growth is predictable.
